Tony Bianchi-Rossi
President
Tony serves as ASTA’s President and brings over 17 years of specialized travel experience to the Company. In 1997 Tony started as National Sales Manager of Bianchi-Rossi Tours Inc. Three years later he became the Director of Sales, managing its regional sales force that annually hires over 400 student sales reps across the country making Bianchi-Rossi Tours one of the largest student tour operators in the country. Tony also co-founded Bianchi-Rossi’s Luxury brand in 2005 offering discerning travelers access to some of the most beautiful vacation homes & condos in the world at over 4 Mexican famed resort destinations which plans weddings and special events. In other ventures, Tony help form Minneapolis based, Solus LED in 2012, a lighting company that provides lighting efficiency consultation services and is a supplier of interior and exterior LED lighting products. With his broad history in travel and promotions both domestically and abroad, Tony utilizes his many relationships in the service sector to distribute LED Lighting and solutions to this vast and growing marketplace. Tony attended Central College in Pella, IA.
Kara Bianchi-Rossi
Marketing/Sales Vice President
Kara serves as ASTA’s VP of Marketing and Sales. Kara comes from Olson, which is the largest privately owned advertising agency in Minneapolis. She held several positions with Olson such as Media Relations Specialist and most recently was the Events Coordinator for the Olson Engage team. As the Events Coordinator she arranged events for several National clients such as the Belize Tourism Board, and General Mills. Kara also has an extensive background in sales, formally working for Coca-Cola based in Eagan, MN. Kara attended St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, MN.
James Bianchi-Rossi
Advisor
James serves as ASTA’s special advisor & consultant and brings over 21 years of travel experience to ASTA. As Director of Operations at Bianchi-Rossi Tours, James helped transform a small family business to a major student travel organization. James has worked with the ASTA division for over 5 years and continues to expand & strengthen the fortifying relationships that place ASTA on a playing field of its own when it comes to quality service and unique product offerings. Currently, James works as Director of Operations for Las Vegas based JusCollege, Inc., a leader in student travel & event planning.
