1. Every participant and their parent or guardian agrees that they have read and understand the American Student Travel Abroad Terms and Conditions issued with the Official Brochure of your program.
  2. The use of alcohol is strictly prohibited during the program. Students who break this rule will be sent home with no escort at their parents’ expense with no refund given.
  3. Drugs are absolutely and completely outlawed for everyone participating in this program. Students who break this rule will be sent home with no escort at their parents’ expense with no refund given.
  4. Participants agree to not get any tattoos or piercings during the program (the program begins with the departure from the United States and ends upon return in the United States). Students who break this rule will be sent home with no escort at their parents’ expense with no refund given.
  5. Participants are expected to dress appropriately during the course of the program (the program begins with the departure from the United States and ends upon return in the United States) Please note that even while visiting a tourist area, participants are expected to maintain a suitable level of dress. Your organizing teacher will inform you what areas visited will require a dress code in advance of your trip so you can pack accordingly.
  6. Students are expected to participate fully in the program as dictated by the Organizing Teacher, Teacher’s Assistants, and Tour Escorts and to be on time for buses, guided tours, etc.
  7. Students are allowed leave the hotel in their free time during the day in groups of three or more. Students must let their Organizing Teacher know at all times of their whereabouts. Free times and specific rules will be set and conveyed to all students by their organizing teacher in advance of the trip. All students are required to follow all rules and regulations set forth by their organizing teacher.   8. Students may leave the hotel after the evening meal if they are accompanied by the Organizing Teacher or Teacher’s Assistant. Free times and specific rules will be set and conveyed to all students by their organizing teacher in advance of the trip. All students are required to follow all rules and regulations set forth by their organizing teacher. Students who break any rules set forth by their organizing teacher could result in individual being sent home with no escort at their parents’ expense with no refund given.
  9. Participants may be in rooms of other genders (males in female’s rooms and visa versa) until 11:45 pm, but the door must remain open during the visit. Specific rules and times will be set and conveyed to all students by their organizing teacher in advance of the trip. All students are required to follow all rules and regulations set forth by their organizing teacher.   10. Under no circumstances may participants hang clothing or laundry out of hotel or bus windows. Participants are never allowed to place arms, head, or other body parts out of the hotel or bus windows.
  11. Please refrain from calling out of windows to people passing by.
  12. There is to be no noise in the halls after 11:00 p.m. Remember that there are other guests staying in the hotel, and we must be considerate of them.
  13. When speaking with people other than those in your group, be careful not to give out personal information such as hotel name, room number, departure date, etc.
  14. Keys should be left at the front desk in the main lobby whenever anyone leaves his or her room.
  15. All articles found in the room on check-in day should also be there on check-out day. There will be a fine for damaged or missing items (towels, glasses, etc.).
  16. Maid service will not be provided unless rooms are neatly arranged and organized.
  17. Those not associated with the trip are not allowed in your rooms, and, by order of the management, the lobby area should not be used as a meeting area. This rule will be strongly enforced.
